Harris Dental Group has always made infection control a top priority. Our team tailors each patient experience so that your dental care is both safe and comfortable.

Here is what we are doing to keep you Safe, Comfortable, and Confident at your next dental appointment.

Infection Control:

You can feel safe knowing that all of our clinical areas are, and always been, treated with standards that far exceeds state and federal guidelines.  Our team is highly trained annually, including COVID-19, using guidelines set by the CDC and OSHA.  In addition, we have increased the frequency of disinfecting the common areas such as door handles, reception area surfaces, furniture, restrooms, pens, etc.  Our training, coupled with our commitment to the highest standards of care, will see you through this unusual time.

Patient and Staff Screening:

We will screen our patients and team daily, including checking temperatures on arrival.  We are instructing staff and patients who have symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g. fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, muscle aches, tiredness) to stay home.

Temperature Check:

We will take your temperature with a touch-less infrared thermometer.  Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher, will be rescheduled.

Hand Hygiene:

You will be asked to sanitize and/or wash your hands upon entering and exiting the office.

Face Covering:

All our team members will always wear a mask.  If you don’t have a face covering/mask you will be provided one to wear while in the office

Air Purifier:

We have True HEPA Air filtration in all the treatment rooms including the waiting room and administrative areas.

Waiting Room:

Until further notice, you will be asked to wait in your car to be called in for your appointment.  Our waiting room is temporarily closed.

Personal Protective Equipment:

We will be wearing additional personal protective equipment than usual.  We may look different, but you will get the same personal care.

Scheduling:

We will be scheduling differently to accommodate social distancing measures and to reduce wait times.

We look forward to seeing your smile again.  Should you have any questions about our new processes, please contact our office.
